You are listening to daily insights on the three ABN Radio Network. And here is your host, Kaysie Butler. Hello and welcome. Thank you for joining me today. Robert Hare, a Pioneer Adventist preacher in Australia and New Zealand, was also a poet. And he wrote hundreds of poems in his lifetime. And I want to share a poem with you today that he wrote. And this was actually the first of his poems that got published in a periodical called The Bible Echo. And it's called I Will Come again. And it goes like this we have heard in distant echoes from the shores of Galilee of the great and precious promise I will come again for thee. And we listen through the twilight or the shading of the noon we listen for the footsteps of him who cometh soon above Earth scenes of sorrow there shines a rainbow light. He comes to wield the scepter in everlasting right no longer crowned malice, a thorn wreath on his brow he comes to smite the nations. A king, a conqueror. Now, dear master, why this waiting? Oh, why this long delay? The golden towers of splendor rise in the faraway and radiant beams of mourning gild the horizon dim while lips of hopeful toilers whisper we wait for him. O joyous expectation, o hope so long delayed. O morning beam of gladness whose light shall never fade we greet thee in the echoes of lips now slumbering dumb we greet thee in the promise behold. I quickly come. Of course, this is talking about the hope of the second coming of Christ. Do you believe Jesus is coming soon? There are so many things that we see around us which have been foretold to us in the Bible that indicate Christ is coming soon. Listen now, as John Lo Mckang sings don't you see my Jesus coming? Don't you see in yonder cloud with 10,000 angels round him see how they my Jesus crow, I am bound for the kingdom will you go to glory with me? Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Don't you see the saints hear them shouting through the air? Jesus smiling trumpet sounding now his glory they will get I am down for the kingdom will you go to glory with me? Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Don't you see the heaven open and the saints in glory? Shouts of triumph bursting around you glory, glory. Everywhere I am bound for the King will you go with me? Hallelujah. Hope. Raise the Lord. Hallelujah. Hope raise when Christ came the first time to this world, he came with a special mission to accomplish for our salvation. But when he comes the second time, he will come as a conqueror and his coming will be so much more glorious, especially for those of us who have let his truth conquer in our hearts and in our lives. Laura Williams echoes these thoughts as she sings my knives have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord he is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of rather stored he is lose the faithful lightning of his terrible sword his truth is marching on he has sounded for the trumpet that shall never come retreat. He is lifting out the hearts of men before his judgment seat obese with my soul to answer him each other. Our God is marching glory, glory, hallelujah glory, glory, hallelujah glory, glory, hallelu in the beauty of the lilies christ was born across the sea with a glory in his bosom that transfigures you and me as he died to make men holy let us live to make men free. Our God is marching on glory, glory, hallelujah. Glory, glory, hallelujah. Glory, glory, hallelujah. Our God is marching on his truth marching all what will it be like when Jesus comes? Will he come to some secret place where only a few people know that he has come? Well, no. The Bible makes it clear that Christ's second coming will be a worldwide event. And everyone will know about it. No one will miss it. Listen as Esther Muy sings a scripture song which she wrote based on Revelation One, verses five to eight. And this describes what it will be like when Jesus comes the second time. Sandwiched us from our sins in his own blood and has made us kings and breath to His God and Father, to his glory and dominion forever. Amen. Amen. Behold is coming without and every hour, even all the tribes. I'll be God Omega the beginning at the end I am beyond the Omega, very loose. And who wants and who is to come? Who is and who wants and who is to come? Be almighty who is and who was and who is to come? Who is and who was that who is my Almighty almighty and wash from our sins and his own blood and has made us keep and breath to glory and dominion forever. Behold is coming with love and every will see My name yes. And all the tries I'll be throwing you and soul. Amen even so. Amen. Up next we'll hear from Fountain View Academy strings and singers with the song Lift Up the Trumpet. And you know when Jesus gives you a new heart and you realize how merciful and kind and tender and yet powerful and faithful he really is, you look forward to his coming as if it was a beloved friend and you want to share about his coming with others. Lift up the trumpet and I'll let it ring jesus is coming again. Cheer up your pilgrims be joyful and see jesus is coming again coming again to jesus is calling again call me again, call me jesus is calling again. So are you looking forward to Jesus coming? Consider this as Sandra Enterman sings are you ready for Jesus to come? Are you faithful in all that you do? Have you fought a good fight? Have you stood for the right? Have others seen Jesus in you? Are you ready to stand in your place? Are you ready to look in his face? Can you look up and say this is my word? Are you ready for Jesus to come? Are you faithful in all that you do? Have you fought a good fight? Have you stood for the right? Have others seen Jesus in you? Are you ready to stand in your place? Are you ready to look in his face? Can you say? This is my lord? Are you ready for Jesus to come? Are you faithful in all that you do? Do you fight a good fight? Do you stand for the right to others see Jesus in you? Are you ready to stand in your place? And are you ready to look in his face? Can you look up and say this is my life are you ready for Jesus are you ready for Jesus are you ready for Jesus to come? Ram in the book of Revelation three times, christ says to us, behold, I come quickly. And then he says, and my reward is with me to give to every man according as his work shall be. It is my prayer that you and I will be ready every day for Jesus'coming. And I hope that today's program has inspired you with encouragement and patient of when he comes again soon. Until next time, thank you for joining me. May God richly bless you've. Been listening to a production of three ABN Australia radio.
